WABE reports that Atlanta Beltline has secured all the land rights needed for its 22-mile mainline trail, completing more than two decades of property acquisitions and easement negotiations. The milestone establishes the route needed to connect more than 45 neighborhoods.

The remaining work includes the 4.3-mile Northwest Trail, which will connect the Westside and Northeast trails through neighborhoods and business districts. The full loop is scheduled for completion by 2030.
